VP - Group Consolidation - CA - Bank

Our Client is one of the growing MNC bank in the region and is looking for Group Consolidation VP to support strategy and day to day finance activities. This is a new role due to continuous expansion of the bank in the region.

Brief responsibilities will include :

- The preparation of actual results through maintaining and developing systems and processes to produce actual results each month. This will include ensuring future developments are considered in good time to support comparative reporting and ensuring processes are documented to audit standard.

- Developing and producing monthly reporting of actual results for internal and external audiences, providing commentary on variances to prior year and plan/forecasts.

- Producing Group and PLC financial statements for external publication, ensuring all are fully supported to audit standard and are materially compliant.

- Providing the center of excellence for the Group, ensuring all reporting conforms with applicable accounting standards, and technical solutions are reached with regard to the "commerciality" of the issue;

To qualify for this role you will require :

- A Qualified Chartered Accountant ideally with experience within large Group IFRS consolidation.

- An experienced team manager able to lead and manage a team with the ability to deliver through the team while maintaining control and quality.

- The ability to liaise and enforce compliance across large geographically and culturally disparate groups.

- The credibility and gravitas to act as a key member of Group Reporting Senior Team.

- A keen eye for detail where required, instilling this across the team.
