VP - Financial Planning & Analysis - Corporate & Investment Banking (10-18 yrs)
Looking for VP - FP&A Corporate & Investment Banking for our banking captive client based in Bangalore / Chennai.
The incumbent has the responsibility to perform prepare and establish various financial analyses, opportunities quantifications, financial projections in order to provide management with all required financial data, with utmost accuracy, timeliness, and within set standards and guidelines.
Partner with Corporate & Investment Banking Finance CFOs to drive and manage consolidated C&IB financial performance requirements
Job Responsibilities :
- Perform financial and MIS related activities in a timely manner
- Manage day to day operations to ensure the processes are executed within agreed SLAs
- Front end the coordination and support during forecasting, budgeting and monthly reporting cycles with product and segment finance heads and Regional / Country finance functions
- Analyze business performance, review highlight risks and opportunities and drive actions to ensure committed financial outcome.
- Support Balance Sheet, capital and liquidity requirements through an understanding of its impact on consolidated business performance and support active balance sheet management for strategic planning.
- Ensure impact on business performance outcomes is managed due to change in upstream or downstream processes and systems.
- Ensure robust financial processes in place to report revenue, cost and balance sheet for C&IB in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with Group / IFRS accounting principles and practices, Financial Control policy, and other regulatory accounting guidelines.
- A mature finance profession with relevant experience in financial services industry
- Experienced in corporate banking products, booking models, accounting treatments
- Sound understanding of international accounting standards requirements, business analysis techniques, risk management methodologies, project management techniques
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi task, lead through ambiguities, influence where he/she does not have direct authority & build on unstructured formative situations
- Should have worked in a business finance function with strong FP&A background.
- Significant experience of working with senior management team and of interfacing with and influencing senior stakeholders.
