VP/Director/DGM Delivery Operations

Firm - 

Series A funded a startup in Bangalore into subscription-based Hyperlocal delivery. They are in a high growth phase with lots of cool stuff to be done.

They are now looking for more people to join their Core team. There are 2 traits that matter for the team - high IQ and high commitment. 

- It's a Weekend- is not really a reason to not answer vendor/customer/team calls. Asking questions is good but losing context is not. They are a consumer-facing company in the end.

The Operations environment presents the candidates with great challenges in dealing with front-line management and driving scalable and continuous improvements across our Operations.

- Looking for Young, energetic candidates to drive the Operations/Process from scratch.

- Design and set up the operational processes to ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction.

- Set standards for various operational areas, ensuring a high-quality customer experience, while adhering to the SLAs.

- Identifying reasons for Non-Compliance on SLA / TAT and conducting root-cause analysis and taking preventive measures for repeated escalations

- Ability to understand the customer's pain points and design, improve operational preprocess.

- Team/People Management: Has prior experience and has excelled in managing fairly large teams

- Experience of working with cross-functional teams

- Able to identify problems and articulate well enough to drive product improvements

- Good at Data Analysis/Metrics

Qualities & Qualification:

- MBA from top tier 1/Tier2 institutes and/or B.E/ B. Tech from Premier Institutes (Preferred)

- Ability to get things done and solving complex problems

- Ability to work in a cross-functional team

- Passion for customer focused services business

- Team builder and communicator. Translates corporate business goals into well-defined performance plans for the organization

- High-energy, with a nimble and analytical mind. A nose for opportunities

Preferred firms: Delivery firms like Swiggy, Zomato, Freshmen, Foodpanda, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra etc (last mile delivery experience)
