VP - Debt Syndication - Real Estate Sector - NBFC

We are urgently looking for a VP-Debt Syndication with a Leading NBFC based at Mumbai.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

- Scanning the business proposals submitted by the Business team, assisting the business teams in deal structuring, providing inputs on project/ sponsor from sell-down perspective.

- Conducting due diligence of the proposals, negotiations and finalization of terms and conditions from sell-down perspective.

- Provide market intelligence to business teams/ senior management to review competitive landscape and enable decision on organizational action points.

Sell-down/ Syndication with Target Investors

- Review of Information Memorandums, Financial Models and other market communication documents highlighting the salient investment features, risks, opportunities, etc. prior to launch with potential investors.

- Devising portfolio and assignment-specific sell-down strategy in line with the risk appetite for the target investors and launching Information Memorandum and Financial Model with the target investors.

- Active liaising with the target investors, supervising the due-diligence process of target investors with support from transaction managers.

- Obtaining credit approvals from target investors, making required representation to target investors for synchronization of term sheets.

Deal Closure

- Oversee the documentation process and ensure smooth closure of transactions through effective co-ordination with the client, investors, legal counsels and internal cross-functional groups.

- Ensuring compliance of all pre-disbursement conditions of target investors with support from transaction managers to ensure timely receipt of sell-down proceeds from target investors.

Other Roles

- Mentor and handhold transaction managers encountering process bottlenecks.

- Ensure regular updates on transactions are communicated to senior management for course correction and resolution of key issues.

- Oversee the database/ MIS on periodic basis for effective tracking of business progress round the year.
