VP - Commodities & Global Markets - Financial Control - Financial Management Group (10-18 yrs)

Role: Vice President - Commodities & Global Markets (Financial Control)

Work type: Full time

Location: Gurugram

Experience - 10 plus relevant

You will be responsible for an effective financial control environment which encompasses

- Ability to comprehend business Balance sheet and PL - technical and operational accounting of positions, composition, explanation of contributors to periodic movements and should be able to provide commentaries with relevant business context

- Ensure completeness and accuracy of ledger data, Monthly BS and PL substantiation and analysis correct position in account, business and entity.

- Ensure all accounts are correctly substantiated and adequate for Reporting / Tax / Legal Entity Control & Analytical requirements

- Month end/Period end activities including GL close, BS Substantiation, Journals, BS commentaries, Submissions, and liaising with stakeholders for various queries.

- Hands on knowledge of transfer pricing (TP) and commonly used underlying TP Models.

- Good understanding of Intercompany bookings, Reconciliations and causes of breaks

- Financial/ Regulatory/ Tax reporting submissions - Technical requirement & Business context

- New transactions / deals / products / entities / acquisitions/ restructures

Below will be preferred

- Knowledge of Trading/Markets business and underlying products including fixed income, equities, derivatives, FX etc.

- Well versed with latest accounting standards and their impact on recognition and accounting of financials instruments in financial statements

- Detailed awareness of Trade recognition, Life cycle (Trade Execution to Reporting) and its Accounting.

- Knowledge of Front Office/Middle Office Systems.

Your qualifications

- Postgraduate accounting qualification, CA /CPA/MBA

- 10 + years of relevant post qualification experience

- Good understanding of reporting requirements under IFRS, particularly standards that are relevant to the Banking Industry

- Prior experience in the Banking/ Financial services is a requisite
