Role - Capital Market Operations

Roles & responsibilities -

- This division deals in Global Market Products such as Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, Equity , Fixed Income , Commodities and Futures.

Key job responsibility is to focus on providing services to banks investment banking clients – including broker- dealer clients. The service range include Reference data management , Pre settlements , Settlements , Reconciliations , Investigations , Asset servicing etc.

Role Responsibilities

- To build processing activities across various functions of Global Markets products cycle

- Will be measured by ability to adherence to the group’s goal and the consistency of results.

- Provides leadership to a team of operations managers and is the Liaison with the LOB & Clients

- Highly service oriented and should be able to provide the leadership with the business

- Responsible for people development , training and recruiting

- Will have to assume complete ownership of the business

- Engage with the support partners like HR, Facilities , Risk , Q&P to ensure smooth delivery

- Drive Process Improvements and implementation of Six Sigma in processes to continuously improve business metric

Requirements:

- Excellent understanding of Investment Banking products & Operations

- Preference for an MBA or equivalent with 13 plus years of total experience

- Expertise in handling operations in atleast 2 product lines in Investment banking with atleast 3-5 years experience in this domain

- Team player who is customer/client focused and can Lead a large team.

- Ability to identify and apply innovative thinking and utilize problem solving skills to continuously improve the quality process.

- Must employ good organization and time management skills.

- Demonstrates flexibility and openness to new ideas and to change, and adapts to changing environments, situations, and job responsibilities.

- The candidate must have strong presentation, communication and leadership skills.
