Job Responsibilities:

Requirements analysis

Development in Hadoop (Big Data Analytics/Mongo DB)

Build Enrichment and Aggregation Services Framework using Java 1.7 (Equivalent of Ab Initio or Informatica of ETL)

Building Test Automation Scripts

Be part of Sprint team and discuss actively everyday progress

Support and development Teams

Troubleshoot performance and scalability issues

Will be able to acquire an excellent knowledge on Retail Products and Regulatory Reporting

Opportunities:

Development in Hadoop (Big Data Analytics/Mongo DB)

Get exposed to cutting edge technologies, while building frameworks

Exposed to Agile methodology of executing projects

Somewhat Proficient: MongoDB, JUnit, Mockito, WebSphere, Spring Batch

Proficient: ExtJS, Scripting, Maven, Spring, Hibernate

Highly Proficient: Java/J2EE

Technical Skill Required:

Core java 1.6/1.7

Spring/Hibernate - Multi-threading

Solid Understanding of OO principles

Unix/Linux experience

Relational database concepts and knowledge in SQL

Prior knowledge in Hadoop is highly weighted

Non-Technical Skills Required:

Passion for technology, especially Java and Hadoop

Self-motivated and a desire to progress your career

Flexible and adaptive, team player

Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize work and well organized

Comfortable in presenting suggestions for change and or improving workflow
