Senior Role ( 12-15 years exp) – Online Product Development
Role Purpose –
- To lead and be responsible for product development with experience in Web/Internet technologies and development (involving Java/JSP/JS/Ajax/LAMP & related web technologies). Typically the leader has direct management responsibility for a development team, and recruit and grow talent, define project goals and approach, manage execution through leads and peer relationships, control overall project financials, and drive innovations to continuously improve capacity, quality, and agility.
Responsibilities typically include
1) successfully managing day-to-day operational and production support tasks,
2) guiding the team using key project indicators, including schedule, budget, technical quality and delivery,
3) serving as subject matter expert
4) managing resource allocation and capacity, and 5) driving strategic and tactical initiatives that support the growth and advancement of the Online business.
- The successful manager will need an understanding of the core web technologies, design, user experience and emerging technologies in order to ensure that the requirements provided by the business are successfully translated online.
Preferred Qualifications -
Masters /Bachelors degree in CS/ECE
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Competencies -
- Work experience in well known Online companies with 12-15 years experience in product development and experience in all the software engineering aspects.
- Management & hands-on technical skills.
- Demonstrated very strong leadership & motivational skills and have led large multiple development teams
- Extensive hands-on experience in Web/Internet technologies and development (involving Java/JSP/JS/Ajax/LAMP & related web technologies).
- Strong product development experience/background.
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
- Excellent planner with strong project management skills.
- Strong experience in all aspects of software engineering (Dev, QA, Support)
