Role: /AVP - Debt Capital Markets

Location: Mumbai/Bangalore

Position Description :

The primary responsibilities of the role are providing support for the DCM team by developing and maintaining market analytics; developing pitch materials and transaction marketing materials to help originate new mandates; and structure and process corporate debt offerings in the public market. Our DCM practice connects corporates with capital markets and institutional investors such as banks, insurance companies, and mutual funds through financial tools such as securitization, credit enhancement and debt structuring.

Role Purpose: Manage Capital Markets Products and Structured Products transactions from inception to execution/closing with a focus on NBFC/HFC/MFI space.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Supporting the DCM team to execute transactions for debt/bond issuances

- Preparing pitching materials and market intelligence relevant to the needs of clients

- Analyze company financial statements; Create financial models, projections for client companies;

- Participate in business and financial due diligence

- Prepare transaction documentation requested by lending institutions (Banks, NBFCs, MIVs, DFIs, etc.)

- Research and analyze industry, economic, market, and regulatory data as required to support debt coverage activities and transaction execution

- Understand and research on trends in DCM activities in various market segments

- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and advise issuers on opportunities and capital solutions

- Conduct marketing activities to investors on new issuances

- Working with internal stakeholders to facilitate a smooth transaction

Qualifications:-

- Should be a MBA or a CA or a CFA.

- 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial banking or debt fund raise

- Good understanding of the debt market and track record of working on successful deals

- Strong understanding of accounting and finance

- Ability to build financial models

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Ability to multi-task

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Self-starter, with solid team skills

- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
