Voylla.com - Director - Merchandising

Voylla Fashions Pvt. Ltd., India's fastest growing Jewellery & Accessories brand is looking Director- Merchandising.

Job responsibility :

- Include market research with the latest in-trend designs in jewellery & accessories, Manufacturers, Export Houses, and Fashion Houses to sell their lifestyle products (jewellery and accessories) through Voylla.

- Working closely with Design in curating new products.

- Working closely with Designers/Suppliers for procuring products, analyzing fast moving products, and managing relationships with existing suppliers.

- Will own the product portfolio from procurement to sale, including but not limited to analyzing the right quantity to buy, negotiating best prices, planning promotions, and ensuring the desired sell-thru rate is achieved.

- The Director will select the merchandise from the designer portfolio based on the latest trends and market research, creating a great selection for our customers.

- Develop improvement plans, produce monthly reports, and research product implementation.

- Will be responsible for the profitability of all the product categories.

- Must also assist in pricing, budgeting, and creating profit and loss statements.

Required Skills :

- Strong knowledge of the Indian Fashion Industry

- Passion to work in a start-up environment with a motive to deliver the best customer experience

- Relevant work experience of 10+ years.

- Experience with MS Office (Excel) is required.

- Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

- Passion to work in a start-up environment with a motive to deliver the best customer experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Management from Premier Institute Required.

- MBA/Master's Degree from Premier Institute Preferred.
