Position Title : RPA Rollout Manager

Reporting To : Head - RPA Product

Location : VWITS

Purpose :

Overall leadership and responsibility for rolling out Robotic process automation across Diverse business domains, Group Brands and Regions. The main goal of this role is to establish technically striving teams. Manage quality, schedule, budget & team capacity for successful RPA Rollouts.

Critical Drivers for Success :

- Rollout RPA Projects and Services as per agreed Milestones / SLA / KPI with the agreed quality.

- Effective project & people management.

- Capacity planning.

- Automation competency development.

Span of Control (No. of Subordinates; Direct and Indirect) : 20-30-Direct / 5-10 Indirect

External Stakeholders involved : VWAG / Brands / GIS / Strategic Partner

Internal Stakeholders involved : Delivery Team / HR / Finance / Technology Cluster / Legal

Role and Responsibilities :

a. VW Group level leadership :

- Lead the discussions with various brands, entities, regions and functions of the group companies in order to establish collaborative relations for RPA program. Work for effective RPA rollouts, plan & manage the rollouts involving stakeholders from Group, Brands, Regions and markets.

b. Strategic :

- Participation in the preparation of the Strategic Delivery Goals of VW ITS.

- Share expert Delivery knowledge to formulate strategic delivery targets and goals

c. Leadership :

- Provide Leadership to RPA Program, Project, Scrum and Service Managers

- Prepare budgets and operations related to program and service delivery

- Preparation of proposals and business cases for new Projects / Services

d. Delivery :

- Buildup of Competent Program Rollout Teams

- Ensure successful knowledge transition and delivery capabilities

- Supporting technical solutions in the RFP/RFQ phases (Design Technical specifications for RPA implementation projects, Writing Process Definition Document (PDD) & Solution Design Document (SDD))

- Engage with RPA industry experts to bring in best practices

- Ensure that every project and service will be delivered successfully and qualitatively (Work Content & Quality of Results)

- Planning & implementation of technical resource ramp-up, grooming internal talent in line with business requirements

- Establish Project Rollout Models in line with Group processes like IT-PEP, IT-PEP Agile

- Identify and spread usage of suitable Tools, Accelerators & Re-usable components to improve efficiency

- Project / Services Ramp-up & Ramp down

- Ensure appropriate resource capacity management - Resource Utilization and Forecast Plans

- Design reusable objects / components

- Develop the process flow and roadmap for clients. Adopt Intelligent Automation strategy.

e. Customer Management :

- Management of Project / Services contracts (DLV's) with the Customers

- Manage Customer Satisfaction i.e. effective surveys, actions, follow-up items and closure

- Ensure Escalation and Change Management processes with Customers

- Ensure appropriate Project and Service Status Reporting to relevant stakeholders

- Show-case technical innovative solutions to identify further Project/Service oppertunities

f. People Management :

- Manage SCRUM & Agile rituals to motivate RPA team for productive rollouts.

- Manage the team and maintain a high resource utilization rate and low attrition rate

- Formulate individuals formal development planning

- Give a balanced, constructive and evidenced based feedback on performance

g. Finance :

- Ensure financial management of Contracts (DLV`s) and Invoicing data

- Ensure Monthly forecasting and invoicing of Projects/Services

h. Authority :

- Manage Delivery Budget

- Manage Resource capacity

- MbO of RPA Rollout team

Accountability :

- Yearly financial closure for RPA Rollouts

- Project/Service Delivery with Quality, KPIs/SLAs

- Resources Utilization and Attrition Rate

- High Customer Satisfaction Index

Minimum Educational Qualification Required : B-Tech / Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or other science

Minimum Experience Required : 12 years

Technical Skills :

- Extensive Knowledge on Automation Technologies, framework & Platforms. Preferred hands on experience with one or more RPA technologies (e.g. Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)

- Experience in Assessing and Designing the RPA Automation Solutions (preferred experience in multi bot architecture).

- Stakeholder Management of complex organisations

- Excellent Delivery management skills

- Knowledge about IT environment for manufacturing companies

- Knowledge about IT Delivery strategies

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

- Planning and organization skills
