Vodafone - Mpesa Channel Development Lead (8-10 yrs)

1. Drive core business by winning in our market place

a) Responsible for overall throughput from telco channel - MBO+ retail

b) Overall revenue achievement as per DB

2. Drive Customer First agenda

a) Customer acquisition numbers by creating robust footprint across the geographies based on sender and receiver logic

b) Agent acquisition as per DB

c) Activating and transacting agents as per targets

d) Registered customers (RTT) from telco channel as per targets circulated by the circle.

e) KYC as per circle DB

3. Leverage scale benefits and operating efficiencies

a) Focus on quality execution with an eye on the overall budget and spends

b) SAC & S&D spends within budgets

c) Seamlessly integrating MPesa into the larger telco eco system by ensuring that it becomes the single largest initiative for the year

d) Quality of acquisition to be in line with delivering the unique user targets as per DB

e) Create visibility and on ground support for the brand to support the ATL campaign planned for the year - measured by the AVI score

f) Work closely with the corporate teams and handhold the end user training and the final migration to the new system

4. Focus on Mpesa Business for driving future growth

a) Build on the money transfer business by identifying suitable surrogates including STD bonus card selling outlets as well as the migrant labour sending and receiving pockets

b) Robust processes for agent and customer connect programs. This in turn should result in agent productivity and customer usage including frequency of transaction / ticket size as defined in the db

c) Building the distribution on the ground along with the telco team to service bulk deals/ Mandates - make this reach a key differentiator in the market

d) Successful implementation of all new projects including the CSE governance

5. Build the best team, driving the Vodafone Way(Happy employees and great careers, Intense focus on Diversity, zero fatality mindset )

a) Building capability on m-pesa across RMs, DAMs, DLs, ZMs and Channel by building robust systems and processes

b) All CSE, PSR and DSE to have training on m-pesa once every quarter

c) Ensuring M-pesa representation in all circle RnR - distributor, DSE, PSR contests, zonathon and any other incentive program at the circle.

d) Build safety mindset and ensure HSW aligned practices are put in place for M Pesa 1@Risk

- MBA with 7-10 years experience

- Experience in distribution and financial sector

- Articulate and persuasive
