Role Solution Lead - IoT Applications

Location : Mumbai

Job Purpose Role purpose : To work very closely with pre sales team, platform, product leads to provide an end to end application architecture for customer requirements from feasibility to end solution

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities :

- Design and manage the solutions towards customers for applications in various IOT applications from Telematics, Utility, Smart city and industrial use cases

- Closely work with Product, Solution and Sales team to evaluate and select the right partnership and engagement model from the platforms and technologies

- Partner with our Upstream solution teams and Product to understand customer requirement from data analytics and application to provide high level and low level architecture for application development.

- Deliver pilots and proof of concepts for success of end to end solution applications and manage the SDLC Participate closely in the standard bodies and technologies to participate into white papers, draft specification and ensure adherence

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience :

- 10 - 12 years of industry experience in Engineering and IT as technical architect role developing large-scale systems based on complex integration solutions and server/ cloud based web application

- Good experience in multiple cloud platforms, especially from Device and Enterprise architecture integrations design and implementation perspectives

- Min. 3 years of hands- on experience in developing end- to- end IoT applications that are comprised of cloud- based applications and services, web applications, data analytics, wireless communication systems, embedded sensors and devices along with mobile App

- Should have implemented / Architected at least 2-3 Projects in this space from Engineering or IT perspective

- Good understanding of drivers for edge sensors, device provisioning and protocols Good understanding of sensor to gateway/cloud connectivity solutions

- Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly absorb customer requirements and translate into technical solutions

- Provides technical direction for the design, development and system integration in the area of IoT solution development from definition phase through implementation in a nimble, startup like environment

- Participates in developing proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) with engagement or Project team managers and Subject Matter Experts; to develop estimates and work-breakdown; work scope for make-buy decision including developmental items

- Support the Sales Team as the Technical Lead in pre-sales consultation meetings and leads the overall technical solution in customer support and responding to RFIs / RFPs

Must have technical/professional qualifications :

- Engineering Graduate in Information technology, Computer Science, MIS

- Must have worked in Cloud based server client application development using front end design, API programming and back end scripting

- Must have worked as senior lead at Presales/Product organization for at least 10 years around Enterprise solution and products

Years of Experience - 10-12 years of technical experience as technical architect in software and 3 min years in IoT
