Product Lead - IOT Lab

Job Purpose " 

- Create and Run IOT Lab which can certify device for connectivity and advance connectivity ( eSIM, Private LTE, NBIOT etc )

- Establish the Vi standard of testing which will be considered a gold standard in industry.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities" 

- Build internal capability to conduct- testing capability for devices/modules.

- Develop & run new product testing models and ensuring it complies across all Gates from 1 to 6, new features and technology validation support.

- Run Partner Certification program to onboard partners to- Marketplace

- Reduce device related onboarding complaints at least by 20%.

- Keep a panel of devices ready for all solutions being developed around the three horizontals of Smart Mobility, Smart Infra, Industrial 4.0

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience "

- 12-14 years of experience in Product and device testing - experience for various wireless and wire line type of connectivity and IOT devices

- Technical understanding of IOT ecosystem including Chipset, module, platform, device and- application and device protocols

- Knowledge of various IP technologies and protocols for both wireless and wire line solution including MPLS, HTTPS, DNS, AAA, RADIUS, IP planning, LTE, 3G/4G & LPWAN etc

- Should have understanding of existing IOT - regulation and standards around connectivity-

- Coordinate, propose workflow and execute project workflow (planning, scope, budget, quality, documentation, etc.)

- Excellent communication skills including verbal, presentation, email and social interaction. with CXO level.

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

- Engineering Graduate/Post Graduate - in Telecom is preferred

- Must have worked as senior lead at Device Testing /Product organization for at least 10 years around product and IOT Device testing - for connectivity and- devices

- Regulatory understanding and m2m guidelines

- 10-12 years of technical experience in connectivity and device ecosystem and specifically around wireless solutions and IOT
