Vodafone Idea - Marketing Lead - Wearables Category - Consumer IoT (6-12 yrs)
Job Purpose :
- This role is critical to build & deliver the long term strategic Product Marketing roadmap and manage the complete lifecycle of Wearables category in Consumer IoT
- Identify new avenues of growth in addressable market, opening new revenue streams and establish Vodafone Idea Ltd as the leader in the category in Consumer IoT
Key Result Area :
- Bring in superior industry, IoT ecosystem, Technology, competition and customer insights into the product portfolio to ensure that Vodafone Idea Ltd is the preferred partner of choice for Consumer IoT
- Leverage strong industry domain expertise and marketing best practices in a similar Product industry to win in a high growth and fragmented market
- Develop detailed business plan to include need gap analysis, market sizing, market share aspirations, revenue projections and Product mix to meet Business objectives in the category.
- Deliver early success on new products /capabilities and monitor new product performance with respect to revenue and profitability
- Drive focused marketing strategy across the Product lifecycle leveraging existing as well as new channels, including Digital
- Drive Go to Market for new Products / Propositions and increase adoption of existing Products, aligning various internal and external stakeholders
- Drive demand forecasting, U&R, Gross Adds and revenue targets as per the DB
- Ownership of Marketing Capex/ Opex to drive GTM and marketing operations for the category
- Rigorous sales and funnel governance to increase revenue market share.
- Drive day-to-day Product marketing KPIs by effectively interfacing with cross functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Product, Technology, IT, Customer Service and partners
Core Competencies :
- Experience of product marketing in B2C - IoT or other similar Technology Product industry
- Domain understanding of M2M/IoT technologies, applications, IoT ecosystem, customer needs and market place is desired.
- Experience in partner management
- Experience in handling dynamic, high-growth, high-uncertainty environments
- Powerful influencing
- Expertise with Product Marketing/ Product lifecycle management
- End-to-end proposition development experience including developing product concepts, business cases, delivering marketing KPIs and building robust Go-to-market plans.
- Strong systems and process orientation
Must have technical / professional qualifications : BE and MBA or equivalent
