Location : Mumbai

Job Purpose :

- The role would be expected to work with leading cutting edge technologies in the security domain. Work closely in evaluating new products and services to enhance the security posture for the organization. Governance of risks accepted across the technology function

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities :

- Responsibilities include conducting market research and analyzing trends, Implementation of new security products and tools. You may also be tasked with facilitating training sessions, as well as assisting with new product launches.

- Liaises with team members and leads to ensure a smooth handover of projects to the platform operations and managed services teams

- Under the portfolio you shall be expected to manage the risk register with tracking of the risk notes with senior management

- Improving the overall security posture with third party suppliers and adherence to the ISM policies resulting into lowering the risks with adequate controls validated

- Delivery management of projects

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience :

- Presenting and explaining solution design decisions and justifications in design walkthrough sessions with senior stakeholders, IT representatives, across functions

- Should be able to provide hands-on support on technical issues

- Communicate technical issues within scope of assignment and drive negotiation in the interest of security.

- Understanding of security by design principles and architecture level security concepts

- Up to date knowledge of current and emerging security threats and techniques for exploiting security vulnerabilities

- Excellent communication and leadership skills with effective and impactful presentation skills

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate diverse groups, help negotiate priorities, and resolve conflicts among project stakeholders

- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work independently, as well and as part of a wider team, with minimal supervision

- Excellent problem solving, organizational skills and attention to detail

- Good interpersonal skills including persuasiveness and/or assertiveness skills

Must have technical / professional qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; Master's degree is a plus ; certifications in security domain preferred viz CRISC, ISACA,PMI

- Excellent Project Implementation and evaluation capabilities and strong interpersonal skills to get work done from diversified and complex organization structure

- Sound Knowledge of security tools and next generation security practices being rolled out including artificial intelligence

- Automation of security defense systems with detect to block tools

- Strong understanding of complex networks in large enterprise organizations with alignment to stringent process oriented results

- Deep technical understanding of enterprise level IT, web applications, databases, operating systems and networking technologies

Added Clear understanding of :

- Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Content filtering, DDOS, Operating systems, Identity management service, Network & Security design concepts

Years of Experience : 7 - 10 years of proven experience in Information security

- Atleast 4+ years- experience required in Security function within a medium to large Telecom / Biz IT / Banking sector organization.

- Working knowledge of ITIL Processes

- Experience working with vendors and/or 3rd parties
