Role : Direct tax manager Job Level/ Designation : Manager (Taxation)/M2 Function / Department : Finance (Taxation) Location : Mumbai Corporate office Job Purpose : Direct tax compliance management, Tax advisory, Tax litigation management Key Result Areas/Accountabilities : - Tax advisory related to contract structuring and tax clauses - Tax litigation management for Idea and Voda entities - Tax filing including audit closure for Voda and Idea entities including VIL - Replies to tax department for 133(6) notices - Dealing with auditors for closure of audits Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience : - Computation of direct tax and current tax as per IFRS - Working knowledge of ICDS - Expert knowledge of Income tax act - Able to work with multi location and multi-disciplinary team in high pressure environment Must have technical / professional qualifications : - Chartered accountant with minimum 4-5 years of post-qualification experience in direct tax in a services or manufacturing company of decent size Years of Experience : 4-5 years Industries to look from : Telecom, Services, manufacturing Ideal Organizations to look from : Mid size to large scale listed entities
