Vodafone Idea - Manager - Core Operations

Location - Ahmedabad

Job Purpose : 

- Person will be responsible for hardware and Software maintenance of all Core Nodes deployed at the location.

- Node includes Core nodes like MSS/MGW/GCS/GMGW of- Ericsson and Nokia. UDR HLR- Set up of Nokia. Nokia VOLTE Set up.- Cisco and Ericsson PACO nodes like GW & SGSN

- Below mentioned are some of the Key Deliverables of this Manpower

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities :

Below mentioned are some of the Key Deliverables of this Manpower.

- Maintaining 100% uptime of all Core Nodes.

- MSS and MGW Hardware n Spare Management.

- Periodic Core Nodes System and External Backup.

- To support/Undertake various measures to address Customer Complaints.

- POI, BSC, and RNC Integration with Core Nodes.

- Day to Day Configurations in Core Nodes.

- Support in maintaining Network Performance KPIs as per Threshold.

- New Nodes Integration and Commissioning Support.

- Support for MOP integration and integration related activities.-

- Handling Care Cases and Operational Emergencies

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience:

Technical skill set of optical network.

- Managing others and team

- Administration and team building ability

- Experience - 6-10 years.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

- B.E in Electronics and Communication.

- Sound technical skill set/ knowledge of BSS RAN

- Managing team.
