Role : Business Development Manager &nbsp;Function / Department : Vodafone Idea Business Services Location : Gurgaon Job Purpose : - Responsible to create compelling proposition to tap huge digital India &amp; m-governance initiatives. - Actively engage with Marketing/ NPD &amp; Technology Teams to address the market needs - To accelerate the growth of Mobility Voice &amp; Data potential in the Government domain, across all circles - Strategic support to handle high volume, national deals and facilitate Circle sales teams with Central ministry mapping Key Result Areas/Accountabilities : - Create Thought leadership with assigned ministry &amp; other key Nodal bodies to ride the digital India &amp; M governance initiative thereby seeding concepts &amp; seeding the need with our Propositions. - Create strong relationships with Senior Government Decision making machinery with M governance focus, and establish Vodafone Idea in this domain. - Create the strategy and Drive Business development activities along with Circle VIBS &amp; Segment Sales Head, to create robust funnel/pipeline &amp; take a lead position to tap the potential - Drive Funnel creation across Circles and Own the Top 25 high value, Potential projects/opportunities across Circles, provide central ministry &amp; key decision maker mapping support. - Engage closely with the Technology &amp; Marketing to develop customised and specific products to meet customer requirements. Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience : - Industry &amp; Products Knowledge critical - Strong understanding of all relevant products and solutions offered by VIBS. - Large Account Business Development and ability to map &amp; manage relationship at Senior Levels essential - Strategic &amp; People management capabilities - ability to manage large, multi-skilled teams. Must have technical / professional qualifications : - BE/ B Tech or MBA - Strong analytical &amp; conceptual skills in revenue planning scenarios. - Ability to manage highest levels of interaction with Senior level of decision makers in customer environment - Experience in complex change management &amp; operating in a matrix, fast moving environment. Years of Experience : - 10 to 15 Years of B2B experience of which at least 3-4 years as a Sales/ Business Development Manager Industries to look from : Telecom, System Integrators Ideal Organizations to look from : TCL, LnT, Tata Projects, Airtel, Rcomm
