Vodafone Idea - Lead - Finance Operations - VIBS Record To Report (5-10 yrs)
Role: R2R ILD & OSP lead Finance Operations VIBS R2R
Function / Department : Finance operations
Location : Birla centurion Mumbai
Job Purpose : This role is responsible for Reporting of ILD & OSP business
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities :
- Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Ensure timely month end closure of ILD & OSP books
- Monthly Trial Review including BS & P&L variance analysis
- Monthly Cash Flow & Working Capital review
- Coordination with other functions for taking inputs for expense provisions
- Ensure accurate and timely information and reporting to Corporate
- Audit Support & Compliances
- Pro-active audit plan preparation with team and to ensure delivery on time
- Quality and timelines in completion as per Audit plan
- Ensure satisfactory Internal Audit, management audit, ICFR control reports
- Completion of Cost Audits and ASR
- Ensure accurate and timely information and reporting to Corporate
- Process Improvement/benefits
- Develop and Implementation of process for Balance sheet Governance at circle level
- Implementation of process improvements by continuous monitoring and review of existing and new processes
- Monthly tracking & circulating SSC/corporate score card, its discussion with team and taking corrective action for improvement
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience :
- Strong knowledge of telecom business for Carrier and enterprise segments for Carrier and Fixed line services
- Strong knowledge of IT systems (SAP / Amdocs/CAL/BSCS/Oracle) and MS-office tools.
- Strong analytical skills with special focus on positive /negative scenarios in the overall scheme of people, processes and technology failures.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams like Marketing, Technology, Customer Service, Finance Operations, Supply Chain Teams, Regulatory team to mitigate the risk of loss of revenue or increase in direct cost
- Ability to deal with senior leadership team & ensuring influence their decisions & provide data to give correct decisions.
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Direct and Indirect tax laws and its application in reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Regulatory compliances (DoT & TRAI)
- Digital mind-set and agility
- Customer oriented mind set, speed and passion
- Process knowledge to ensure quality and timeliness reporting with respect to Corporate Calendar
Must have technical / professional qualifications : CA, ICWA, MBA
Years of Experience : 5-10 years of industry experience
