Vodafone Idea - Head - Services Planning (15-25 yrs)
Job Purpose :
Deliver all the IP-MPLS services across disparate IP-MPLS Transmission vendor, based on Network rollout, re-structuring, Consolidation, Operational optimisation and BAU requirements.
Key Result Areas :
a) Driving VIL Service Engineering domain for NLD, Core and access network
b) Service design guideline and policy framework. Process flow optimisation.
c) Develop & drive automation for service design, MoP preparation, real-time based logical resource allocation/ de-allocation and TAT based task flow mgmt.
d) Standardization of Change Management process for faster and accurate network provisioning of Services.
e) Drive new technology adoption in VIL: end-to-end logical inventory digitisation on central platform, facilitate implementation of AI/ML based intelligence for services, etc.
Core Competency :
a) In-depth knowledge of IP/MPLS/L2/L3 Routing technologies, strong knowledge of IP Routing protocols (BGP/ISIS/OSPF/LDP/TE etc.)
b) 15+ years Hand-on experience in writing command lines, configuration scripts to deliver services across disparate vendor, multi-layer IP-MPLS network
c) Knowledge on the interoperability parameters across Juniper, Cisco, Nokia, Huawei routers / switches and stitch services for E2E delivery
d) Knowledge of automation Scripting, python and Yang, etc.
e) Cisco, Juniper certifications
