Job Purpose

Role purpose: To develop new and innovative solution around Market place, NB-IOT, Industrial IOT, Energy and Automotive thru in house/partnership approach. The role is inclusive of new product development and building new capabilities with support from IT & NW teams. The NPD head will recruit, manage, mentor and develop team of motivated product managers while thriving in a mission-driven and fast-paced startup environment.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

- Partner with our Upstream Sales and Business Development teams to identify new project concepts and then develops these concepts to fill the business product portfolio.

- Provide leadership in growing the NPD teams through recruiting top engineering talent, managing and mentoring engineers to provide continuous learning and growth.

- Closely coordinate and interact with regulatory agencies including TSDSI, TEC, DOT & TRAI and participate into white papers, draft specification and ensure adherence

- Develop capability thru in house/partnership approach for launch of new edge solutions around IIOT, NB-IOT, Automotive and energy domain.

- Meeting prospective customers, Conduct POC/demonstration of new capabilities

- Ensure that new products are launched in agreed timeframes by effectively interfacing with cross functional teams including Technology, Customer Service, Finance, and Legal, regulatory as well as Vodafone Group Teams.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

- 12-15 years of experience in product development preferably with IOT platform/applications organization

- Previous exposure in working with various IOT applications like Telematics, Utility, health care , Industrial IOT and partner ecosystem

- Deep understanding of IOT ecosystems including device, module, platform , SIM, Application and interdependence

- Work closely with different regulatory agencies like TEC/DOT/TRAI/MORTH/ARA etc

- Team Management and coaching (direct and virtual) and key stakeholder management

Must have technical / professional qualifications

- Engineering Graduate in Electronics and Telecommunication/Post Graduate

- Must have worked as senior lead at Product organization for at least 10 years around Enterprise solution and products

- Preferred Business management graduate

- Regulatory understanding and m2m guidelines and ability

Years of Experience

15 years of technical experiences in M2M device/platform/partner companies and complex solution implementation
