Job Purpose

1) This role is critical- to build & deliver the- long term- IoT roadmap, integrated marketing campaigns,- manage the customer long term value, lead the Go to market, Internal capability development - and position Vodafone Idea Ltd as the leader in the category for both Enterprise IoT and Consumer IoT

2) Identify new avenues of growth in addressable market, bring in superior industry, competition- & technology insights,- drive thought leadership, internal and external communication programs

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

a. Strategic Marketing- across customers,- partners and influencers

1) Positioning VIL as a preferred partner of choice for- IoT in the select Product categories in the - addressable market for internal and external stakeholders

2) Identify key stakeholders and develop Thought leadership & drive advocacy amongst customers,ecosystem partners & industry influencers through various programs, content marketing- and analysts engagement

3) Responsibile for customer long term value ( including upselling, cross selling ) management

4) Leverage IoT domain experience and technology expertise to create compelling - value propositions across industries and use cases with focus on customer Business outcomes

b. Internal Capability Development & communications

1) Internal capability development and channel enablement- through trainings and various certification programs ( including curation of content for these programs) to be future fit from

- Technology and Business perspective

2) Develop and drive Internal communications for IoT across Products, solutions, services and - case studies

3) Enterprise IoT and Consumer IoT GTM

1) Lead GTM for new Product launches for Enterprise and Consumer IoT

2) Channel & Sales Enablement with availability for requisite training materials and collaterals - for online and offline channels. Measure channel performance and accordingly focus Marketing efforts to drive Business objectives

3) Sales pitch trainings to- promoters / channels for Consumer IoT Products

4)Market sizing, competition benchmarking, opportunity analysis and Marketing - operations

1)Market mapping of current and future product capabilities, need gap analysis,market sizing through primary and secondary research and Competition benchmarking across the value chain-

2) Monitor and drive Business KPIs in terms of Gross, Rev, Funnel- and ARPU on a day to day basis

3) Drive customer insights for new Product development roadmap

4)- Drive Product usage through U&R campaigns ( like GDSP self care portal for Connectivity Management)

5) IoT Marketing calendar

1) Conceptualise and develop overall Marketing calendar for Enterprise IoT and Consumer IoT - ( Enterprise and Consumer GTM )- , as per business priorities and work closely with Enterprise Marketing team and Consumer brand team to finalise it and drive execution as per the committed timelines & measure the ROI for the IoT Marketing spend

2) Set and drive the- Business objectives for IoT Marketing campaigns across platforms and own - assets ( like website, Vi App and Vi Business App ), including segmentation, targeting and email marketing and work closely with Enterprise Marketing and Consumer Brand- team to drive execution

6) Customer Experience

- Drive customer engagement from presales to post sale to improve CXX

KPIs:

1)Ensure overall readiness from GTM perspective for new product launches as per the agreed Product roadmap -, which includes Product pitch decks, content for product videos and collaterals, - customer outreach programs, influencer marketing, PR and- positioning.

2) Position VIL as a leader in the select Product categories as per the Roadmap

3) Ensure internal team capability development & awareness- through training and certification program -, internal communications- and measure effectiveness through a structured feedback mechanism

4) Drive specific customer or industry programs like IoT Assessment reports and whitepapers

5) Bring in superior market, technology, competition and customer insights to develop a long term Product Marketing roadmap- to enhance revenue & profitability . - Identify & recommend new Product / GTM opportunities basis market insights

6) Monitor and drive day to day- Business KPIs as agreed by effectively interfacing with cross functional teams, including Sales, Product, Solutions, Technology, Customer service, within and outside the IoT LOB and bring in requisite Marketing interventions- & programs on a time to time - basis to achieve the objectives- like demand generation, gross adds, revenue- and funnel generation

7) Channel and Sales enablement for new Product launches

8) Deliver content and influencer engagement model - for thought leadership to be leveraged across multiple platforms, Influencer & partner engagement program across different solutions ( eSim, Integrated IoT Solutions ) as per the business objective, bringing in Technology, Business and IoT domain expertise

9) Measure and achieve Marketing ROI as per the agreed metrics

a)x % Return on spend across various platforms & channels

b)Ensure visibility on all internal and external assets ( Website, App, Social media channels )

c) Advocacy & influencer impact

d) Customer sentiment analysis,

e) Lead generation as per agreed business objectives & quality of leads across channels

f) Effectiveness on our own digital assets ( Vi App, Vi website and third party assets )

g) Awareness & Reach

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

- 15+ years of experience in a Technology/Telecom industry, with 7 +- years of experience in

- IoT, preferably in in Product Management/Product Marketing

- Experience in managing teams in a dynamic, high-growth, high-uncertainty environments

- Excellent techno commercial ability to understand both the technology and the commercial/ business aspects

- Expertise with managing products through their complete full life-cycle

- End-to-end proposition development experience including developing product concepts, business cases and GTM

- Strong systems and process orientation

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Desired Competencies/ Skills:

- Powerful influencing/ negotiation skills, effective relationship management skills and proven ability to function within a matrix organization

- Experience in handling IoT Products and sound understanding of the ecosysyem

- Experience in Telecom systems and processes

- BE and MBA-
