Vodafone Idea - Business Development Manager - Global Enterprise Segment (5-8 yrs)

Job Purpose : 

The Business Development Manager is responsible for creating new business opportunities and penetrating the hunting accounts of the Segment. The role of BDM is to drive the fixed line, cloud and collaboration business through funnel generation, pipeline management and closures in the assigned accounts, supporting the account managers.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities: 

- Responsible for the Account Penetration and the Multi product penetration in the Fixed / Cloud & Collaboration Services

- Seeding New Products & Services - Cross Selling & Up selling - to enhance overall revenue to the assigned set of accounts

- Explore ways of improving processes and content delivered to sales team for customer specific opportunities in fixed data.

- Business Planning & Accurate Forecasting - Product level Revenue & Order booking; Product level P & L

- Provide periodic updates of the market/competition to the senior management teams with respect to the changes in the market dynamics.

- Accountable for fixed line data sales, commercial processes, documentation and coordination among different teams to fulfill the end customer requirements.

- To cover all the mapped accounts for capability presentations, opportunity development and creation by leading customer interactions & supporting AM.

- Lead all large bids and RFPs for the Fixed Line business. To take care of technical, regulatory, commercial, financial and legal aspects of fixed line data opportunities

- Work towards building capability within the team to handle the fixed line business, queries and also make the team independent of doing the same.

- Adhere and comply to all processes and systems of VIL & VIBS

- Encourage an atmosphere of trust, openness and communication and an attitude based on working together and shared objectives.

- Capability Presentation and creation of new opportunities.

- Should be able to steer the c level conversation with ease

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience - 5 to 7 years of Business Development / Account Management experience selling Cloud / Networking / Collaborative Products & Services

- Expertise in Enterprise telecom products & services

- Enterprise Solution & Consultative Selling background

Must have technical / professional qualifications : 

- Professional Qualifications - MBA from reputed institute with Engineering background

- Technical Qualifications - In depth knowledge on Enterprise telecom voice and data domain
