Job Purpose :


Role purpose: :


- The IoT Connectivity market today has a huge potential with Vodafone Idea Ltd. being the market leader. This role is responsible to build and deliver a short term and long term strategic roadmap and manage the complete lifecycle of overall the IoT Connectivity portfolio which comprises, a major portion of our IoT revenue today.


- Enhance the Product portfolio aligned with the overall business strategy of improving profitability, enhancing revenue, improving win ability and maintaining the revenue market leadership position.


Key Result Areas/Accountabilities :


- Being a highly dynamic & price sensitive market with a strong regulatory framework, aligning the Product roadmap basis the business opportunities, customer insights, market, regulations to create strong industry first differentiators & design the positioning & Go to Market to improve win ability,


- Drive detailed Product business plan to include market share aspirations, revenue projections, sales mix, and investment guidelines.


- Product lifecycle management to increase revenue while ensuring profitability (EBITDA)


- Bringing in operational efficiencies to enhance CXX of the overall IoT connectivity portfolio.


- Rigorous sales and funnel governance to increase revenue market share. Actively participate in key strategic deals for these products by providing product support.


- Define the Product roadmap and deliver new products/capabilities .Need-gap analysis, Business requirement documentation, business case signoff, product documentation, UAT, Business Simulation and Go-to-market plan for new products and capabilities


- Deliver early success on new products and capabilities like Managed IoT Connectivity in the IoT connectivity space and monitor new product performance with respect to revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction.


- Drive day-to-day product and revenue management by effectively interfacing with cross functional teams including Technology, Customer Service, Finance, Sales Segments, and Commercial etc.


KPI :


- Product Revenue and Growth in line with DB plan


- Annual and Long Range Planning - market and customer insight, business objectives, depth of analysis, extent of detailing and timelines


- Successful introduction of new Product capabilities that enable opening up new revenue streams and moving up the value chain in IoT


Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience :


- Domain understanding of M2M/IoT technologies, customer needs and market place is desired.


- Experience in partner management


- Experience in handling dynamic, high-growth, high-uncertainty environments


- Expertise with managing products through their full life-cycle and the through a robust and rigorous Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process.


- Powerful influencing / negotiation skills, effective relationship management skills and proven ability to function within a matrix-organization


- End-to-end proposition development experience including developing product concepts, business cases, delivering products through new product development cycles and as building robust Go-to-market plans. Strong systems and process orientation.


Must have technical / professional qualifications :


- Minimum 5 to 7 year experience of product lifecycle management ideally in the telecommunications, IoT, IT or Technology industry


- BE / MBA or equivalent


Years of Experience :


- Overall experience not less than 10 years, with Minimum 5 to 7 year experience of product lifecycle management ideally in the telecommunications, IoT, IT or Technology industry

Ideal Organizations to look from : Telecom and MNO- s, IOT service providers, aggregators etc.
