Job Purpose: 

To create and execute the business strategy for Access Infrastructure for the enterprise and carrier business. The role will be responsible for the management of the Enterprise Access Network services by forging strategic and operating alliances with Third Party network service providers, with an aim to help VIL win in the market at market competitive costs and customer experience.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities : 

- Enterprise and Carrier Access Strategy development and execution in collaboration with VIL stakeholders, help the business team to expand the last mile reach to VIL customers

- Drive Enterprise last mile transformation to deliver better coverage, superior experience at optimal costs aimed at winning more in the market

- Build new access models, technical and commercial, in order to provide flexible service offerings to our customers.

- Build strategic and operating partnerships with Telcos- in order to support access products and solutions

- Carve out new relationships with alternate media providers such as ISPs and other infrastructure providers for expanding access options

- Be responsible for the service quality of the access partners in order to deliver a better end to end experience for the Enterprise customers.

Key performance indicators [max 3]:

- Unit costs for off-net Access services

- Feasibility ratio and timelines for off-net services

- Increased feasibility conversion ratio on off-net services

- Opex management for Access Services

- Customer Experience on Access Services

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience : 

- Ability to lead in different situations, to deliver the objectives for the Business. Team work and leadership ability to inter-work and influence across all levels

- Understanding of the Telco and ISP eco-system, with established relationships

- Working knowledge of Licensing Conditions, Regulatory Guidelines, Technology evolution

- Working understanding of commercial T&Cs, Agreement structuring and negotiations

- Relevant experience of 10 years in managing telco relationships, associated Enterprise and Mobility technologies and solutions etc

Must have technical / professional qualifications : 

- B.E./Graduate 

- MBA / PGDBM (desirable)
