Role purpose:

To manage and drive the revenues of the circle in order to attain market leadership in the mobile business space in India, through growth, in terms of revenues, market share by designing and executing the Marketing strategy for the circle whilst complying with agreed budget, timescales and agreed policy guidelines as also with all regulatory norms

The role holder is responsible for the revenue for the circle. The incumbent will be responsible to develop and plan marketing strategies to enhance the competitive position.

The primary focus will be to increase the revenues from the base ( including VAS penetration) and managing it well to enhance retentions and CDI, to increase the subscriber base through acquisition ( and intelligent network rollout), achieve targeted roaming tie ups and enhancing brand salience

Customers Suppliers and Third Parties

The role holder has to constantly feel the pulse of each of the markets and be aware of market realities by being in constant touch with key customers groups. The incumbent would steer revenues to greater heights through the Circles and ensure revenue market shares are as per defined limits. Aligning all suppliers partners like advertising agency, media house, PR agency, outdoor agency, content providers, market research etc towards a common goal and facilitating deliveries from them as per contractual agreements.

Key performance indicators

- Meet the acquisition target set for Prepaid & Postpaid

- Drive higher penetration levels & Usage on the VAS portfolio

- Ensure Churn Targets are met for both Prepaid & Postpaid

- Regulatory filing of all tariffs & changes in prices

- Drive all Revenue generating lines on prepaid, postpaid, VAS & roaming & retail business

- Drive Brand Imagery scores for Vodafone vs. Competition

- Advertising spends within the budgets

- Deliver on internal & external communication for all depts.

- Ensure the public relations work is positive for the brand

- Regulatory filing of all tariffs & changes in prices

- All MIS tracking & forecasting on the acquisition, retention & revenue line items

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

MBA with 10 years plus of which at least 3-4 years should be as a product head / marketing head for a reputed organization
