About the team and role

The Head of Collections is responsible for leading the function including

1. Engaging key NBFC Co-Lending Partners

2. Building and managing an inhouse collections team for Colending and Supply Chain Finance

3. Building in-house team and managing pan India network of Collection partners in line with Vivriti policy.

The Collections Head will work on multiple initiatives including

A. Co-Lending Collections :

- Manage relations with key NBFC Co-Lending partners at a senior and mid management level including their Head Collections, Credit & Risk Heads

- Understand the Collections setup, framework, policy & process for each Co-Lending NBFC partner

- NBFC Sectors that would be covered include Consumer Finance, Microfinance, Two Wheeler, Commercial Vehicles, Unsecured SME, Secured SME

- Develop and onboard collection agencies across geographies where Vivriti has its portfolio presence

B. Collections for Supply Chain Finance and Loan Against Property-

- Set up a Collection Strategy & Infrastructure that covers the various business aspects of Vivriti's portfolio

- Develop an in-house collection team for effective control over Vivriti's portfolio

Impact of this Role :

This role is of strategic importance to the company as we leverage technology to scale our business and enhance the client value proposition, including. Ability to take over a NBFC Co-Lending partner portfolio for Collections

- Ability to take over a NBFC Co-Lending partner portfolio for Collections.

- Effective engagement with NBFC Co-Lending partners leading to an in-house view on each partner, their policies & gaps in process

- Output provided by this team will be used to fine tune our business plans and course correct as needed

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Possess 15+ years of relevant experience in

- Ability to develop relations and engage with key NBFC Co-Lending partners

- Collections in financial services industry

- Knowledge of pan India credit markets and credit culture

- Good network across India with other NBFCs, Banks and Collection Agencies

- Good knowledge of various financial products and asset categories

- Well versed with various collection activities w.r.t. team, process, in-housing & outsourcing of functions, vendors empanelment & management, commercials and other related activities.

- Sector understanding of Financial Institutions and Corporates. Good knowledge of interpreting client businesses and financial ratios. Exposure to both wholesale and retail risk in a NBFC/ banking environment

- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

- Good communication and presentation skills
