As a member of the Vistaprint India's in-house creative team you will become a catalyst for change, inspiring and leading a creative team and using your vision, experience and ambition to raise the creative bar. You will influence change through ideas, storytelling, creativity and the use of new design trends. With a forward-thinking approach you will make a difference to our brand, customer-focused marketing and concept that will be used across India for a variety of online and offline channels striving to inspire and produce best in class creative & design strategies.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, who enjoys thinking conceptually, and can work to brand guidelines and marketing & content strategies in a fast-paced environment. He/she will manage the creation of Vistaprint's branding activities, online marketing creative and new campaign initiatives ensuring it is aligned with our TG and business objectives.
Your role will involve :
- Providing art direction; Managing, inspiring and mentoring a team of copywriters, designers, pushing creativity and innovation across all marketing and branding channels.
- Driving excellence through effective creative concepts & copy that result in high-performing integrated campaigns for all cross-channel initiatives, including but not limited to web, online & offline advertising, social media, email marketing, print advertising and/or direct mail.
- Contributing fresh ideas and innovative concepts to help meet company-wide strategic goals through brand and campaign initiatives.
- Developing, in conjunction with the Creative Director, achievable and measurable quarterly creative objectives and be accountable for the delivery of these.
- Working with Marketing strategists, Design managers and Creative designers to develop relevant and appealing copy concepts that meet the brief and business objectives.
- Understanding and applying appropriate metrics and customer insight to the creative process.
- Overseeing quality and efficiency of team deliverables and strike an appropriate balance to maximize business results
- Suggesting innovative design concepts to better meet customer needs, testing where appropriate to confirm and refine approach.
- Leading formal and informal critiques to provide effective, relevant feedback.
In return, you will bring :
- 9 -12 years of professional experience that includes Art Direction, Campaign strategy & management, Concept development, Copy concept and leading multi-functional teams.
- Strong understanding and professional experience of working in digital and online medium.
- Agency OR in-house experience working with big brands, ideally working in the advertising space, creative design companies, media house.
- BA or BFA in Visual Design or an equivalent degree from reputed institutions like NID, MICA, Sir JJ School of Art, or relevant work experience with exceptional conceptual, Team management, design skills.
- Conceptual thinking with a command of typography, color, composition, hierarchy and how these elements work together for design solutions
- Expert use of design applications: Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Strong team and time management skills; distinguish which design issues are critical and demonstrate flexibility when prioritizing issues
- Strong knowledge of pre-press and printing processes will be added plus.
- Strong portfolio of best work covering Digital and Print media with an emphasis on innovative thinking.
