About the Opportunity :

In this role, you will be working directly with the company's senior management, and will get to immediately create a meaningful impact across several projects, including INR ~2,400 crore and INR ~1,500 crore landmark city center developments underway in Mumbai and Delhi respectively. The team is fast paced, hard-working, and results-oriented, and we are committed to providing you the opportunity to move ahead more rapidly than is possible at most other places in this industry.

Core Responsibilities :

1) Financial Reporting and Compliance:

- Ensuring monthly closing of the financial records and necessary reporting

- Managing timely preparation and finalization of accounts and statements (including quarterly, half-yearly and annual), ensuring conformance to regulatory accounting standards

- Present periodic financial statements through Balance Sheet account & P&L account review and reconciliation to identify and manage risks;

- Reports - Debtors report, CAPEX, OPEX, Asset management etc.

- Liaise with both internal auditors, and external auditors

2) MIS & Records:

- Review and organization of all vendor agreements/ essential documents

- Verification and upkeep of all the VR agreements

- Prepare budgets for both operations and development activities

- Prepare timely MIS report in the prescribed format and ensure submission to the PCG

3) Taxation:

- Responsible for statutory compliances and period returns under Income Tax, GST, PF, ESIC, MSME etc.

- Working closely with external tax consultants and representing the organization in connection with tax assessments and tax litigations under Income Tax and Service tax matters.

- Coordination with auditors for providing details for tax audits, (b) transfer pricing audits (c) quarterly limited reviews, (d) statutory audits etc.

4) Treasury & Banking:

- Prepare P&L forecasts for the project as part of the corporate model forecasting of the group

- Handle project payments and cash flow

- Lead the group ERP accounting & finance platform initiative, including implementation of the project finance module

- Coordinate with the banks for drawdown of loans, and reporting on covenants

- Coordination with suppliers, vendors and service providers

- Regulatory reporting in respect of debt securities, including Quarterly & Half yearly compliance under Debt listing agreement to Stock Exchanges/SEBI.

- Ledger scrutiny, Debtors and creditors ageing

- Opening, closing and modification in bank accounts

Qualifications / Experience Required:

- A qualified Chartered Accountant, with minimum 5 years post-qualification experience with a CA firm (or 10 years in the corporate sector)

- MBA and / or ICSI qualifications (preferred)

- Minimum of three years- experience working on a development project of greater than 300 cr.

- Knowledge of FEMA - FC-GPR, FC-TRS, DI, FLA

- Knowledge of Companies Act 2013

- Knowledge of IND AS

- Experience in issuer-side compliance of private & listed debt securities

- Experience in leading a team

- Experience in implementing ERP accounting & finance platforms

- Experience in Yardi, Aconex, Procore etc. a plus

- Proficiency in using Excel, and preparing spreadsheet reports
