Virtualization Architect Job Purpose: The Virtualization Architect will be responsible to analyze, design and plan architecture according to best practices, while ensuring high levels of data quality and availability, including analysis and integration of new customers and projects into the Architecture. This individual is responsible for the design, specifications, sizing, development, and oversight of policies, standards, and procedures to ensure a consistent architecture and management throughout the organization Key Responsibilities: - Propose, review and support on-going technology projects for virtualization and cloud environment to enhance the performance, security, recoverability and continuity of operations - Recommend and implement new technologies for virtualization, cloud services and software defined data center - Contribute to the development of the architecture roadmap for virtual server platforms both on-premise and on-cloud - Provide performance analysis and tune systems. Utilize software and hardware tools to identify, analyze, and diagnose complex problems and factors affecting performance - Create technical standards and architecture specifications - Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources - Analyze, design and plan virtualization architecture on VMware , MS Hyper V, or HCI (Nutanix , Sofgt Iron etc ) according to best practices - Ensuring high levels of data quality and availability, including analysis and integration of new customers and projects into the Architecture. - Ensure design, specifications, sizing, development, and oversight of policies, standards and procedures to ensure a consistent architecture and management throughout the organization - Integration of Platform with self-service portal and updating sizing/Billing Information - Advises on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development. - Ensure suitable sizing of solutions, technology fit, and DR are assessed and accounted for
