Job Description :

TITLE: Payroll Lead

POSITION TYPE: Full time Position

REPORTING INTO: India Head HR

JOB LOCATION: Mumbai

JOB SUMMARY :

As a Senior member of the HR team the incumbent will ensure accurate processing and recording of company's payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, participate in daily data entry Payroll processing, coordinate with vendor and other internal stakeholders. This position will impact a rapidly growing organization and offers career development opportunities for the right candidate.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for -

- Payroll Management (Will be a point of contact/coordinator between the Pay roll vendor and Company)

- Generating inputs for monthly pay roll processing and ensuring periodic update of the CTC muster.

- Statutory Compliances (Contract Labour Act, Labour Welfare Fund, ESIC, Provident fund, etc.)

- Handling Payroll and Statutory Audit/Inspections and documentations

- Offer rollout and maintaining the relevant records.

- Maintaining records of employee benefits and payments and deductions on a monthly basis

- Preparing Full and Final Settlement records for both voluntary and involuntary separations

- Maintaining Leave and Attendance records for payroll

- Ensuring completion of HR operations related work with the help of HR team (Employee Mediclaim Insurance, Employee Service Agreement, Updating Employee Data base etc.)

- Reviewinginvestment declaration, income tax working, scrutinizing investment proofs, issuing Form 16, etc.

- Providing payroll information by answering questions and requests

- Should be self-motivated and willing to take higher/cross functional responsibilities within the HR department time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITY:

- Graduate/MBA with 12+ years- of hands on experience into Payroll function management in any IT/Telecom/ITES industry

- Working knowledge of payroll best practices

- Strong knowledge of statutory regulations and employment laws

- Strong PC skills including proficiency in MS Office

- Strong work ethic, high degree of professionalism and should be a team player

- Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material

- Ability to communicate with various levels of management

- Ability to communicate with employees on any payroll queries and grievances

- Decision-making, problem-solving, eye for details and analytical skills

- Multi-tasking and prioritizing skills

- Team handling experience will be an added advantage
