The Job description for the profile is as under: - Undertaking compliance under the wealth legislations of SEBI i.e. SEBI regulations governing PMS, AIF, Investment Advisory and Accredited Investors - Handling routine wealth compliances and must have handled such compliances in the past for at least 3-4 years; - Handling regulatory inspections and audits; - Establishing systems and processes for handling compliances under the Insider Trading Regulations and PIT Regulations - Establishing systems and processes for handling PMLA regulatory compliances - The candidate shall also be responsible for ensuring all secretarial compliances under the Companies Act - Routine legal business documentation shall also be handled by the candidate - Candidates will also have to coordinate with administrators oversees for ensuring compliances under such jurisdictions of the offshore funds. Qualification and Experience: - The candidate should be a law graduate from reputed college. - Candidates who hold Company Secretary membership and who have undertaken courses in compliance functions would be given preference. - The incumbent should have experience of atleast 6-10 years, - Candidates with prior experience of handling the wealth compliance (PMS, etc) function for at least 3-4 years is a must. - The candidate should preferably be working in the compliance function of the Wealth management arm or mutual fund arm of any financial services company operating in India.
