Zonal Head (VP) _Government Business

- Setting up the Government Business franchise through creation of customized products/offerings, processes, systems, compliance requirements and leading efforts for building liability business and fee income streams

- Engagement with CBIC, CBDT and RBI for authorizations for collection of direct and indirect taxes and technical integration process

- Engagement with Government for authorization towards collection of state revenues and empanelment in other states

- Spearheading Central Government Business of the bank and directing a team of Regional Heads, Senior Relationship Managers, Relationships Managers for business development from Government Departments in Centre and State Managing overall performance & productivity of the Team of Government banking Group of the bank

- Establishing strong and functional relationships with Ministers, Top Bureaucrats, IAS & IPS Officers, Secretaries of Government ministries and decision makers of Government organizations

- Liaising with top Govt. Officials & State Ministries to mobilize business& grow the book size pertaining to Govt. Business; working along with the Ministries for Development of effective Fund management solutions for National Schemes reaching to the Beneficiaries at village level

- Contributing in acquisition& servicing of new banking relationship in Govt. entities in the field Municipal Corporation, State Government, Govt. PF Trusts, Embassies, Gram Panchayats, Govt. Boards & development authorities, Defense autonomous bodies to achieve planned business objectives

- Monitoring compliance of the business requirements as per regulatory guidelines Key person in developing and implementing effective sales strategies for enabling the Regional Sales Team members to achieve sales targets
