Vice President - Wholesale Strategy - Investment Bank

Work as a part of the Wholesale Strategy division on global, regional and divisional projects

- Support management / business on strategic projects (e.g. business/regional growth initiatives, adapting operating model to evolving industry landscape, impact of changing regulations on capital markets business, acquisition screening / evaluation for inorganic opportunities, supporting FinTech initiative etc.)

- Strategic assessment of underperforming businesses and development of scenarios / recommendations for business heads

- Conduct analysis of the competitive and general macro / market environment for senior management presentations. Develop market sizing / revenue pool models

- Prepare complex analyses, perform story-boarding and generate insights to propose strategic solutions to challenges and issues faced by the Wholesale business

- Prepare presentations for senior management board meetings, investor day, off-sites, town halls etc.

- Most of the projects require working closely with Strategy team members, business CAOs, Finance and other functional teams across regions to gather & synthesize information, analyze data and generate insights

- Role provides wide exposure into investment banking industry across Fixed Income, Equities and IB Advisory

5-9 years of relevant work experience in a strategy role, in a consulting firm or a strategy/business planning unit of a financial institution

- Highly motivated individual with proven ability to solve problems

- Strong analytical skills and excel skills

- Strong with PowerPoint and presentation

- Strong communication skills (written & oral)

- Ability to multi-task efficiently and meet project deadlines

- Attention to detail

- Knowledge of capital markets / investment banking industry
