Vice President - Wealth & Relationship Manager - BFSI (10-15 yrs)

Our client is a fast growing startup in the Wealth management space.

Within 2 years since inception, the Fund has about 500Crores AUM, and is helping some discerning clientiele by handling their wealth professionally.

With about 13 employees in Chennai, the company is now embarking on increasing its operations and offerings to HNIs, and family offices, in Hyderabad

We are looking for YOU to spearhead the Hyderabad operations!

YOU would have had an 8-10 year prior work experience in either of wealth management in banks (HDFC / Citi / Indus Ind / Yes or Kotak preferably) or as a corporate banker to SMEs, family businesses and promoters.

The ideal candidate should evolve into one who wears three hats

i) Relationship Manager : Someone who has met promoters/family businesses before and can re-establish contacts to manage their wealth and run the book, in terms of advisory with training and help from the management.

ii) Over time learn to be a Product Manager: Someone who can analyze various equity / debt products and work on external partnerships with AIF / PMS managers who are niche / boutique for the client, if such a product is not available in-house ( Adequate training will be provided by management towards this)

iii) Building an office and managing PL

Responsibility :

- The primary responsibility of the person is to maintain a strong relationship around wealth management needs of the family / promoter / company (who are the potential clientele)

- Run an independent book of advisory AUM alongside working on structuring the right products based on the risk profile with help from the management

- Expand the client base of the firm by placing the main fund of the firm to the suited client base with help from the senior management

- Work with the family/promoter group around financing solutions/capital structure restructuring if necessary

- Look at setting processes and hiring their own team over time ( and managing their PL)

Qualifications

- Ideally a MBA with about 10-15years experience in the industry

- Entrepreneurial in nature and should operate with a mindset focussed on the client, rather than a push oriented mindset focussed on commissions

- On offer is an attractive fixed (CTC) -in line with the market conditions,

- PLUS an incentive structure : 30% of the bottom line generated to go towards the team payout.

- Equity : The candidate will have an ownership in the firm, in the form of ESOPs which he will be eligible to participate in, after an association of 2 years with our client
