Unit Head - Government Business Integration (Business Technology Group)

One of our clients, a Large Private Bank is looking out for a Vice President - Government Business Integration (Business Technology Group) to be based at Mumbai.

The ideal candidate should be a MCA/ MBA/ BE/ MSc/B Tech or BSc IT/Graduation with 14 - 20 years experience, of which 60-80% experience should be on side of business domain, analyst, functional testing, Project /Program management. Remainder may be on technology side viz of infra/networking /DB/OS etc

It should be a combination of the following:

a. Technical domain understanding across Banking systems

b. Strong Exposure to Govt / Institutional Projects covering

i. Govt Schemes / Disbursements of benefits

ii. E-tendering/ Auctioning

iii. Payment Integrations.

iv. Debit Card/Credit Card/Open and closed loop

v. Smart City Projects Banking integrations

vi. Geotagging

vii. Payment Gateways

viii. Tax collection Integrations with Govt bodies

ix. Citizen Services

x. Govt Processes .

c. System functional knowledge, related banking/process knowledge and relate skills viz: Analytical, Documentation, Communication

Good Exposure to one or more BFS domain areas e.g. primarily on retail banking and payments products and should have good exposure on Corporate .

Performance Tests / Benchmarks, Integration with Autosys, TNG, etc. related tasks.

- Having technical knowledge of Web technology JAVA/J2EE/JSP/SERVLET/XML, WebSphere, UNIX/Linux/AIX, Oracle, IBM MQ, Servers, etc.

- Technical Issues analysis skill, Identifying resolutions jointly with Application Vendor and/ or Infra Systems Vendors, Server / OS / Storage experts,etc.

- Constantly identify initiatives to improve process efficiency and TAT's.

Vendor Co-ordination - Interact with Vendor on-site / Off-Site Delivery Teams for getting deliverable as per Project Timelines, tracking slippages, ensuring quality of deliverable and necessary escalations and arrive at remedial measures

Good to have if exposed to : 

a. Reporting tools - Crystal reports, BO

b. Exposure to Automation and Monitoring tools like Autosys and Unicenter

Awareness of Project Management methodologies, SDLC (Planning, Feasibility Study, Requirements Analysis, Technical Architecture & Design, Development, Testing - UT / SIT / UAT, Implementation, Support, Documentation), Process & Quality.
