One our Client, a Leading Private Bank is looking out for a Vice President & Unit Head - Data Processing Center to be based at Bangalore.

The Individual should be a BE/B.Tech with 17 to 25 years experience, of which very strong experience in Data Processing Center.

Job Purpose:

1. The purpose of the Unit Head DPC is to ensure resilience for all DPC activities through operational drills.

2. To execute operational activities of all Disaster recovery deliverable including Drills /Batch runs/Scheduled activities etc

3. To maintain Audit deliverable related to assigned Applications on daily basis.

4. To ensure Sanity check on daily basis and thereby to minimize application downtime

5. To ensure restorations in UAT stage of projects and to ensure provision of Historic data of account statements.

Job Responsibilities :

- To maintain accurate and well defined operational procedures in terms of checklists as per Bank's requirement. Operational procedures need to be maintained and need to be evaluated regularly

- To analyze the process/ procedures followed at DPC periodically & to ensure Process improvement. The process and procedures of every section of DPC deliverable need to be verified and process improvement scope to be identified and followed up till completion

- To execute operational activities of all Disaster recovery deliverables including Drills /Batch runs/Scheduled activities etc. To analyse the activities in advance and to ensure error free execution in time.

- To ensure Sanity check on daily basis and thereby to minimize application downtime. New applications to be added, process notes to be updated and daily execution /escalation /resolution need to be ensured.

- To co-ordinate with various units of SMG to implement Automations. Automation scope to be identified and need to followed up till completion

- To ensure maintenance of auditable records. Auditable of Internal & External audits need to be verified regular basis

- To perform as an SPOC of DPC for Internal audit and External audits. Operational activities and various deliverable need to be demonstrated to Internal & External auditors .

- To maintain adequate control on Work Area & various system accesses to ensure the security of the Systems/Data. Checklists need to be maintained and adequate control need to be ensured

- To handle 2nd Level escalations of system availability or USD call closure. To ensure system availability to end users. Need to verify and ensure system availability as per the SLA

- To handle contingency scenario in order to minimize service disruptions. Need to ensure periodic drills and thereby to maintain business continuity/ resilience in operations

- To maintain the processes related to Media Movement & Storage. Media movement as per ITPP need to be ensured without any exceptions

- To ensure adequate staffing for the DPC operations in order to meet service deadlines. To manage the staff to derive the output as expected by management

- To evaluate the IT contracts based on IT Governance guidelines and to sign the same. Recruitment and training need to be ensured in an effective manner. To provide necessary Induction training\Soft skills training \On-site training \technical training to the DPC staff .

- To ensure restorations in UAT stage of projects and to ensure provision of Historic data of account statements. To ensure that all the IT contracts are signed and maintained by coordinating with IT Governance, Vendors and Project managers. Restorations and Historic data need to be provided as per set process and escalations need to be handled .

- To visit data center regularly and to verify/maintain various deliverable. To maintain the operational processes related to Datacenter.

- Data center need to be visited periodically and various deliverable to be cross verified and reported. Need to escalate wherever required.
