Vice President - Transformation & Innovation - Financial Services

We are hiring a Vice President for our Financial Services Client in Bangalore

Core Responsibilities:

Responsible to lead and engage with cross-functional teams in areas of strategic innovation and development of new products through a dedicated R&D team (located in Bengaluru, India) focused on the design of experiments, rapid prototyping and proof of concepts to deliver automated business solutions for our customers and global employees.

Job Description:

- Develop & maintain world-class R&D capabilities by being a change catalyst while enabling:

- Analysis of known problem statements

- Prototype/experiment with 3rd party vendor solutions

- Proof of Concepts to test possible solutions & tools

- Market new solutions & tools to product & process owners

- Collaborate with all transformation product owners, technology partners, business stakeholders and with the larger organization, to define R&D priorities and explore new tools & solutions

- Devising the Long-term Strategy for R&D to develop infrastructure aligning to meet investment plans

- Ensure all projects delivered, comply with required standards, regulations and processes

- Effectively communicate to provide regular updates to WLS leadership and the firm, including presentations, executive summaries and summary metrics

Required Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience with at least 5 years in the domain of implementation of new tools & solutions related to:

- Artificial Intelligence for emails

- Digital cockpits to provide real-time management metrics and intelligence

- Interactive chatbots and virtual assistants

- Interactive workflow solution enabled with notifications, report ingestion, OCR, indexing, auto assigning etc.

- Document ingestion and tracking of metadata

- Demonstrable experience in R&D operations, product life-cycle management, product introduction and product development, stability studies & specifications development

- Demonstrated project management & leadership experience in financial services

- Demonstrated experience managing and collaborating with multiple teams, coordinating across different cross-functional initiatives, and reaching consensus with diverse stakeholders

- Excellent judgement and independent decision-making ability

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels of management
