Job Title : Transformation - Cost Planning VP
Location: Noida
The purpose of the role is to enable improvement in Enterprise Cost Planning and Forecasting processes via driving and managing change to the cost planning technology applications. The role is a - functional technical role that sees the person being able to effectively connect finance and technology people and processes to deliver best in class planning and forecasting processes.
What will you be doing?
- Drive and deliver continuous improvement of the Parker cost planning platform, meeting needs of the various planning cycles
- Influencing, driving & delivering further transformation of Barclays cost planning processes, including making connections with the wider change agenda.
- Collaborating across Finance and Technology to drive :
a. Technical solutions that meet business processes needs
b. Congruence in direction of the wider transformation agenda
The role is a functional - technical role that will require both.
- Working with stakeholders to understand business processes and designing and agreeing future solutions
- Managing the delivery of agreed change across all stages of the development lifecycle. Defining detailed business requirements agreed jointly with technology counterparts, fully testing the development of the solutions and managing the implementation and handover of the solution to the users for use in the business process.
What we're looking for :
- Excellent Stakeholder management skills, including verbal and written communication skill, and being able to influence and negotiate with a broad set of stakeholders;
- Demonstrable track record of delivery, working on a variety of relevant projects;
- Knowledge of Finance process, system and technologies;
- Analytical & logical approach with strong data analysis capability
Skills that will help you in the role :
- Experience of Hyperion Planning and associated tools
- Change management experience.
- Knowledge / experience of Finance BP&A processes / cost reporting and analytics principles
- MBA/CA would be preferable for this role
