Vice President - Technology - Fashion Retail Brand

Our client is a fashion retail brand, yet a growing and innovative tech company.

Can you lead ?

We are looking for a head of engineering to lead the engineering department and help build great products. You are tasked with making executive technology decisions on behalf of the company, including technology identification, implementation and making tech investments to align the company with their vision for its technological needs.

- You will drive technology initiatives covering ERP, ecommerce, CRM, marketing automations, operations, analytics and other departments.

- You will be heading the IT team of system admins, business analyst and development team.

- You'll ensure we use innovative technologies that maximize our productivity and help our company grow.

Job Roles & Responsibilities :

- Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals

- Project Management and implementation

- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage

- Help departments use technology profitably

- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency

- Build quality assurance and data protection processes

- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance

- Use stakeholders' feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology

- Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors

- Setting a vision for how technology will be used in the company

- Ensuring that the technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs

- Outline the goals for research and development

- Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services

- Making executive decisions on behalf of the company's technological requirements

- Staying on top of technology trends and developments

- Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards

Candidate Profile :

- Advanced technological skill set and a demonstrated history with technology

- Knowledge of SDLC, Cloud, SAAS, enterprise solution, system architect, SDLC, Web Services, requirement analysis and software testing

- Updated with latest technologies like AI, Machine Learning and similar

- Exceptional team management skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Ability to delegate efficiently

- Experience in retail or ecommerce Industry preferred
