We are seeking for VP- Technology for one of our fastest growing client based out at Bangalore. Your part:- - Own end to end development and operations of high performance web and mobile applications. - Architect and scale the engineering platform to reduce technical issues and improve performance and agility. - Lead a full-stack team of developers (across Front-end, Back-end and Android), who are passionate about disrupting the industry. - Work closely with Product, Marketing, Business Development and Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements on-time. - Foster a culture of innovation. - Mentor team members, and ensure that they learn and grow with the company. - Ensure software engineering lifecycle best practices are followed. - Closely monitor and guide product releases and updates. - Attract and retain top engineering talent. - Help set the strategic agenda for the technology team. - Translate this agenda into an actionable product/Tech roadmap. - Own end-to-end availability and performance of the services. YOU SHOULD:- - Be a hands-on technology person with eye for details and scale. - Have 8 odd years of experience in cutting edge technologies in a product or start-up company and managed a team of software and QA engineers. - Have sound knowledge and experience in Mean-stack, Node JS, Angular, React, JavaScript, Mongo DB &amp; Postgres. - Have technical expertise in web systems architecture, design and development - Have experience in ensuring engineering best practices (code reviews, testing, service-oriented architecture etc.). - Be able to multi-task in an ambiguous and very dynamic start-up environment. - Have excellent prioritization and project management skills. - Have a professional, positive and dynamic approach. - Be strong in building relationships, a team player. - Be creative and self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.
