Vice President - Talent Acquisition COMPANY BACKGROUND : - Large billion dollar global group having interests in communication, data, digital, consulting, PR, digital business transformation with 4000 employees across various locations. - With multiple organisation brands serving global and Indian clients. Given the scale and complexity, the Group seeks a trusted and experienced TA leader who can lead manage the full recruiting cycle including hiring strategy, research, candidate identification, evaluation, offer negotiation and closing. Across its various lines of business. This is a new position, reporting to the CTO. Will have a team of 15. POSITION DESCRIPTION : - Managing overall recruiting process, across all levels, partnering with HRBPs, hiring managers, (usually senior business heads) to develop recruiting strategies for long/short term hiring goals. Effective design and implementation of sourcing strategies at group level and standardising wherever possible. Planning and prioritisation of hiring needs and link these to the needs and direction of business. - Source and screen qualified candidates, leverage multiple channels of recruitment ranging from research, employee referrals, and search partners as and when deemed appropriate. Set up and improvise systems and processes that will help manage candidates seamlessly through the interview process, set expectations, provide feedback, negotiate, close all offers and board successfully. - Manage hiring MIS. Position the TA and HR function as credible, value adding and a capable business partner. Create and meet metrics of hiring performance. Represent company brand/s positively to all prospective candidates at relevant touch points and forums. Manage employer branding initiatives. HIRING PROFILE : - Mumbai based (preferably) full-time post graduate with PQE of 12-15 years, of which at least 8 in talent acquisition. Must have significant experience in industries driven by intellect such as consulting, tech, data, analytics, consumer tech, media and internet. - Ideally a mix of established and startup. Sound understanding of business imperatives to be able to partner senior management. Should have led a team of atleast 7. - Must be extremely excited by the talent acquisition function. ROI driven and quality conscious mature individual with a positive personal presence. - May have only corporate side experience or premier executive search firm experience or a combination of both. An ability to impact, evaluate and on-board candidates with consistency. High on energy, innovation, maturity and tenacity. A strong bias for action. Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, written communication and presentation skills. Excellent time management / project management skills.
