We are looking for a VP Supply Chain for one of our leading E commerce client.

The position is based at Bangalore.

Job Description:

- Responsible for leading cross functional teams to develop and implement innovative supply chain models to delight the customer at the lowest possible costs in the unique Indian context.

- Design, Build and Execute one of the finest customer centric and profitable supply chain in India with a strong focus on cost and speed.

- Deliver key metrics such as On time delivery, fulfillment and quality - boringly consistent every day.

- Prepare supply chain for tomorrow - Define and build process, people capability and capacity to deliver business growth needs.

- Own supply chain strategies and deploy them to drive down cost, improve speed and reliability.

- Drive continuous improvements, lean operations, 5S and other best practices of supply chain operations.

- Improve consistency, reliability and predictability of supply chain.

- Manage cross-functional projects to drive efficiency against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals.

- Develop a strong people capability, training and ecosystem to build tomorrow's operation's leaders.

- Drive a supply chain evolution and efficiency through products, process, and people.

- Subject matter expert in supply chain operations and logistics.

- Experience in capacity planning and management 


- Scaling up warehouse infra, process to handle more capacity.

- Strong people manager 


- Handled layered teams with more than 200+ people - Experience with team development, performance management and delivering results.

- Strong process and data orientation.

- Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer.

- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

- Demonstrated ability to influence Board level executives to on field executives.

- High degree of business ethics and accountability.

- Strong business and financial acumen.

- Should be analytically very strong and will be responsible for dealing with the support team and the priority issue.
