A top Indian MNC is on the lookout for a Vice-President Supply Chain to be based out of Bangalore in a Pan-India role. This role will report into the CEO of this business. 


Key Responsibilities include 


- Ensuring OTIF (On Time in Full) delivery performance of 90%+ for furniture and Seating products and work closely with the sales & marketing team in developing Sales forecasts


- To develop production plans for all product categories and get them executed through the in-house and outsourced manufacturing units. 


- To appoint vendors and decide on products to be manufactured at various manufacturing units. 


- To do the capacity planning for the business and negotiate costs for all outsourced products and ensure cost reduction and targets are met. 


- To keep material cost in line with Plan. 


- To monitor RM and FG inventory and ensure they are within corporate norms. 


- To ensure monthly CSAT scores for delivery are line with target NPS, Visit customers and vendors on a regular basis to gain insights and improve the supply chain function, 


- To maintain a healthy supply chain, automating the repetitive tasks, ensure proper tracking and visibility of the orders and publishing the status updates. 


- He / She will track Indian & International brands for latest trends in the Industry & provide insights to business, work closely with New Product Development Teams and suppliers in terms of sourcing and costing.

- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver the product as per agreed SLAs and Quality. The role will entail collaborative working with Sales, Design and Project teams. Service orientation along with Compliance mindset is essential for this role.

The successful candidate will have a BE with experience in operations / supply chain management. MBA/PGDM will be an added advantage and 7-15 years of core supply chain experience in automotive or similar industries with large Indian on MNC companies. Exposure to outsourcing from a large base of vendors and management of supplies to projects is essential for the success of this role.
