JOB TITLE: VP- Strategic Analytics (11-16 years)

An opportunity to lead and show case expertise in leading a team for analytical and risk management solutions with 11-16 years of experience. Candidate will be in charge of developing, designing and implementing exceptional logical techniques and analytical strategies, additionally managing the group about the same. Incumbent will be working across portfolio monitoring and servicing along with reporting /analytics as a part of mortgage modeling team/risk management team.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

- Leading the team to deliver concrete analytical solution (PD, LGD,EAD) and data driven strategies to existing/new business problems using a combination of business understanding as well as robust statistical tools.

- Monitoring and tracking strategies/solutions at regular intervals and propose appropriate modifications from time to time in developing/strategies/solutions.

- Developing, designing and implementing new strategies as per the requirements, collaborating with cross functional teams to develop a culture of risk awareness and identification.

- Providing leadership, coaching and mentoring to a group(s) of analytic professionals.

- Show casing innovative approach towards strategy and model development.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

- 11+ years of relevant experience in analytics or consumer lending/ retail banking; mortgage banking/ risk experience is a plus.

- Strong hands on developing new strategies for analytical models or developing new analytical solutions.

- Ability to develop, recommend, and implement financial risk strategies based on well researched facts and analytics.

- Exceptional leadership skills with a desire to oversee the development of analysts on the team

- Master's degree in relevant technical or quantitative fields (e.g., Mathematics, Finance, Business, Physics, Statistics, Operations Research and Economics), or Bachelor's degree in relevant technical/ quantitative fields with relevant work experience.
