Vice President - Settlements - Investment Banking Firm (15-20 yrs)
Our client, a prominent global Investment Banking firm providing an extensive array of services, is currently seeking a seasoned Vice President to take the helm of their Settlements team.
Some of the key responsibilities will include :
- Guarantee the firm's Fixed Income and Equity security transactions achieve successful settlement on the designated contractual settlement date.
- Confirm and verify the details of securities transactions, including trade terms, pricing, and counterparty information.
- Review and maintain accurate records of trade documents, including trade confirmations, contracts, and settlement instructions.
- Collaborate with various departments, including traders, brokers, custodians, and clearing houses, to resolve trade discrepancies and ensure timely settlement.
To be eligible for this role you will require :
- At least 15 years of experience in Trade Operations.
- Settlements specialist and manages the settlement process for global markets.
- Previous experience in securities settlements, back-office operations, or a similar role within the financial industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, securities, and settlement processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
