Company - A leading MNC Bank Location - Mumbai Role Vice President - Segments & Proposition Lead Role Description Segments &amp; Proposition Lead, a key member of the marketing team, will be responsible for building the brand, driving user growth and consumer engagement. This leadership role will entail - Deep understanding of the consumer - Build best in class consumer value proposition for all consumer segments - Track and report the performance of each of the consumer segments - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to launch products/services/initiatives and track the effectiveness of these launches This role will report into the Brand, Segments and Marketing Communication lead for the consumer bank We are looking for a motivated self-starter who thrives on working in a fast paced, high growth, rapidly evolving business and is keen to build a differentiated business. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with the various teams across the Consumer Bank to develop effective end-to-end consumer acquisition, retention, and engagement programs to implement strategies to grow the consumer base, improve overall segment profitability and deepen product penetration. - This would include the following, incorporating a data-driven consumer approach at all times: Value Proposition: Understanding market and competitive landscape to develop best-in-class value issue proposition including differentiated services that would appeal to the specified segment Consumer segmentation: Identify, understand, and target segments to develop the appropriate programs and communications strategy. This includes driving digital initiatives that may be appropriate for the respective segment for eg online investments and self-help initiatives for better adoption of digital assets that would allow consumers to live more and bank less Acquisition Model: Develop and implement optimized models to improve acquisition quality and momentum, especially across digital channels. This includes attracting onshore and offshore affluent consumers who may have banking needs. Engagement Model: Align with the business and servicing model to define cross-sell, up-sell or optimization strategy, including digital engagement channels. This includes AUM building programs, product penetration programs across investments, insurance, credit cards, mortgages, and loyalty rewards programs Portfolio health: Management the performance management of key metrics of the segment, against business goals (revenue, aum, product holdings per consumer) and competitor benchmarking Analytics: Use of data-driven approach to develop end-to-end programs; this would include using analytics to understand the segment, identify the opportunities through their behaviour, to crafting the appropriate messages and channels of communications, to the tracking and analysis of these programs. This would also include testing of the wide range of analytical models and data sets available. - Collaborate with product teams to ensure that range of product, product features, product pricing and operational dynamics are meeting the needs of consumer segments - Collaborate with different teams across consumer bank, to develop and execute the communications strategy and consumer experience across all consumer touch points, including digital channels to ensure contextual and relevant messages are made available to consumers - Develop a strong network of external partners that would be relevant and value-adding to these segments so that win-win collaboration opportunities can be developed for loyalty and rewards programs Experience and Skills - 10-16 years experience in the banking industry preferably with strong knowledge on consumer banking products and related processes - Demonstrate strong ability on analytics - Strong understanding of consumers behavior and industry trends - Strong experience working in cross functional teams (local and global) with and ability to influence key stakeholders with data driven and insightful point of view - Ability to partner with internal product/distribution teams. - Open mind-set with ability to think of out-of-the-box solutions - Excellent communication skills with the ability to instantly connect with people and manage ongoing relationships for positive outcomes - MBA from a premier institute
