The future is closer than you think. The rapidly evolving world of autonomous cars, drones, unmanned trains and whatever visionaries like Elon Musk next come up with, all have the potential to hugely disrupt Casualty portfolios.

- By 2050, many predict that nearly every car will be driverless. Given the important part motor plays in our portfolio, should we be excited about driverless technology- What are the benefits and risks- How will this affect our clients' portfolios- Which markets will lead, which will lag- What role will telematics play- And how do we transition-

- Casualty has looked into these questions and subsequently created a new and highly innovative Automotive Strategy. Technological developments like automated cars and telematics will have a big impact on Motor insurance. In order to execute this strategy, a new team has been set up. It is responsible for developing telematics-based product concepts and scoring capability for telematics-based policies.

- As Scoring & Analytics Expert you will be part of a team, with the goal to drive technological developments that we hope can help transform the re/insurance industry.

- We are seeking a motivated candidate with passion for technology to be a part of Scoring & Analytics team in Bangalore. You will work with colleagues from various countries across different locations who contribute in developing telematic analytics services in tight collaboration with internal business experts and clients.

In particular, the role will involve :

- Design experiments, test hypotheses, and build models

- Conduct advanced data analysis and design highly complex algorithms

- Apply advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to build, maintain, and improve on multiple near-real-time decision systems

- Support discovery processes with Institute stakeholders to identify the business requirements and the expected outcome

- Make strategic recommendations on data collection, integration and retention requirements, incorporating business requirements and knowledge of best practices

- Develop innovative and effective approaches to solve client's analytics problems and communicates results and methodologies

- Validate analysis using scenario modeling

- Identify/create the appropriate algorithm to discover patterns

The ideal candidate has a strong background in computer science/engineering, math, statistics, physics or any other computationally intense disciplines.
