Vice President - Sales - Services (12-18 yrs)

The VP will report to the Managing Director/CEO - India and will have extensive experience in the entire sales cycle including demonstrable success on leading sales and account management organizations to outstanding achievement including consistently exceeding quotas and goals. The selected candidate will develop and lead a team of 30+ sales, account management and telesales individuals. S/he must be a hands-on executive who will work closely with his/her team to demonstrate successful client presentation and closing techniques.

Our ideal candidate will be a highly proactive and self-motivated professional who has demonstrated unparalleled results and who is a thought leader who instills trust and credibility throughout the enterprise and within the most senior levels of a potential or existing client organization. S/he must have the business acumen and sophistication to develop and present a differentiated sales approach while understanding the key drivers, opportunities and risks.

This will include innovative approaches to lead generation, product footprint expansion, customer acquisition, upselling and cross-selling. S/he must be able to quickly assess the market to identify and optimize opportunities, design creative solutions to challenges, allocate resources and prioritize opportunities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Defines, communicates, supervises and delivers an aggressive Sales and Account Management strategy that is proactive, comprehensive a highly differentiated with a compelling business case and demonstrable ROI.

- Includes the development of initiatives for sales opportunities that maximize revenue and profit within the region and globally.

- Includes the oversight of both short and long term business development for both established/saturated and emerging/unsaturated markets.

- Develops and executes strategies to drive profitability, growth and operational direction and results for India, as aligned with group objectives. Includes leading and expanding regional or local opportunities to multi-national and global deals.

- Leads the development of a selling culture that is highly accountable, passionate, dynamic, honest and results-driven. Exemplifies innovation, persistence, adaptability, integrity and the championing of new opportunities and ideas. Includes accountability for staff development and performance management.

- Analyzes geographical, vertical and market-size opportunities to ensure that the Sales & Account Management teams are appropriately organized and that all available resources are optimally distributed so as to maximize impact and profit goals.

- Leverages and optimizes all internal systems, processes and resources to ensure the highest level of product configuration, marketing/branding, delivery and client development/services.

- Ensures that the Company's vision, brand and strategy is communicated, inter-connected, understood and embraced.

- Assumes a senior most client-facing role, establishing and growing relationships with top clients and serves as the senior liaison for large global clients with both Indian and multi-nationals.

- Accountability for wallet-share growth and the expansion of client relationships including prime responsibility for developing, sustaining and enhancing existing relationships with top 60 key accounts.

Candidate Profile:

- 12-14 years of experience including executive level sales and account management experience in a technology-driven BPO, HRO, Information Services or related industry with significant or primary operations in India.

- Minimum of five years managing a sales team with revenues of $20 million to $50 million

- Key qualifications include a consistent record of a leadership role in exponentially driving and exceeding sales targets and quotas.

- Experience in a senior level, Indian-centric sales role including personal and professional knowledge of the Indian culture, business environment/protocol, regional issues and growth strategies and trends.

- Proven ability to drive multi-national and/or global sales and account strategies including experience in successfully interacting with peers across the globe.

- Ability to instill a culture based on a consultative sales model including the ability to lead complex sales and to facilitate conceptual, distinctive and total-solution oriented conversations.

- Ability to instill strategies to drive exclusivity, urgency, priority and enthusiasm within prospective and existing client organizations. Includes exemplary success in generating comprehensive solution sales through the presentation of compelling, complex and comprehensive solutions at the senior management level of prospective clients.

- Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills.

- Demonstrated success in building teams that are able to lead an insightful discovery process, preempt/overcome objections and champion/communicate the benefits of a highly differentiated and value added brand/partnership in a compelling manner. Includes demonstrated expertise in establishing and enforcing sales disciplines on CRM for pipeline management, sales process management and measurement of KPIs.

- High level of focus and intense drive-to-results approach including demonstrated ability to manage teams to exceed monthly quarterly and annual quotas. Includes a record of developing and implementing processes to develop leads, pipeline, relationships and presentation opportunities as well as leveraging upsell and cross-sell opportunities through targeted and proactive strategies.

- Ability to develop, articulate, champion and execute against an aggressive growth strategy that is aligned to corporate objectives and that is understood and embraced by staff.

- Excellent leadership, management, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills. A hands-on, accountable and inspirational leadership style including a highly communicative, honest, transparent and empathetic approach.
